At Santa Mònica we offer you the chance to do an internship with a paid grant. With these grants we want to open the doors of the arts centre to students and university graduates so that they can get to know the teamwork of the speciality and thus contribute to their practical training and integration into the labour market. 

The call for internships from 15 September 2026 to 15 August 2027 is now open.

For this edition we offer two scholarships for the Communication unit and one scholarship for the Exhbitions and activities unit.

The application period ends on 15 April 2026. 

Modalities 2026-2027:

Amount: 1.250 euros per month (gross) per person.
Duration:
 11 months. Starting date: 15 September 2026. 
Timetable: 35 hours a week from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 10:00 and 19:00 h.

Collaboration in the coordination and production of exhibitions and activities of the exhibitions:

  • Support in the coordination of exhibitions and in the coordination of itinerant exhibitions.

  • Research and documentation of materials to be included in exhibitions.

  • Contact with lenders and producers.

  • Support in the management of image and intellectual property rights.

  • Implementation of information about the materials in the data processing of the exhibitions.

  • Support in the elaboration of explanatory documents and dossiers of the projects.

  • Research of institutions and contacts for possible touring.

  • Support in the compilation and writing of contents for communication.


Specific educational requirements: degree in Art History, History, Philosophy, Anthropology, Humanities, Arts, postgraduate studies in Cultural Management or in the artistic or humanistic field.

Amount: 1.250 euros per month (gross) per person.

Collaboration in communication and dissemination tasks for exhibitions, activities and projects at Santa Mònica, distributed according to the profile and interests of the trainee(s):

  • Support in the writing and adaptation of texts for clear communication of the activities.

  • Support for the creation of digital content: recording and editing of audiovisual content, stories, reels, memes, photographs, interview videos, reports, etc.

  • Support for the design and layout of merchandising materials, publications and other printed and digital media.

  • Support for the publication of content on the web, newsletters and social networks.

  • Creation of content and experimentation with new formats for the dissemination of the creation processes active at the centre within the framework of the #SantaMònicaPerDins project.

  • Collaboration in the research of target audiences and in the dissemination of the centre's activities, including the programming of the Sala Bar, in coordination with the activities team.

  • Collaboration in the monitoring of the participatory space and in the maintenance of the existing participatory facilities (Balda, “Question, question yourself, question us”).

  • Monitoring and archiving of information on Santa Mònica published in the written and digital media (press compilation).

  • Collaboration in the collection of communication indicators.

     

Specific educational requirements: degree in Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Audiovisual Media, Humanities, Philosophy, Arts, or postgraduate studies in Cultural Management or in the artistic or humanistic field.

Who are they aimed at?


Individuals who meet any of the following requirements may be beneficiaries of these grants: 

a)  Be enrolled in the studies required for the type of grant for which they are applying and have passed a minimum of 120 credits, or in a postgraduate, master's or doctoral degree directly related to the aforementioned studies, during the academic year that ends in the year in which the grant is awarded.

b) Hold a degree in the studies required for the type of grant for which they are applying, or in a postgraduate, master's or doctoral degree directly related to the aforementioned studies. It is necessary that the degree entitling them to access the grant has not been obtained for more than five years.

How to apply?


To apply for a grant you have to submit an online application through the portal of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The deadline for applications is 15 April 2026.

When submitting the application, you must identify yourself electronically, fill in the corresponding form and provide the following documentation: :

a) Copy of the documentation accrediting that you have a degree in the studies required in base 3 or that you have enrolled. In the case of official university degrees from the Spanish State, it is not necessary to provide them if you authorise the examining body to consult the corresponding data. 

b) Certificate of having passed credits in the event of being studying the required studies, in accordance with base 2.a). 

c) Copy of the transcript of records showing the average mark for the studies required in base 3. 

d) Detailed curriculum vitae of the applicant, specifying the studies required in base 3 and all those aspects that can be assessed in accordance with base 7. The curriculum vitae must expressly state, where applicable, the type of contract, the scholarship or internship carried out and the number of hours of training or work and collaborations. Only studies and merits that can be accredited with documentary evidence may be included in the CV so that they can be valued. The lack of accreditation means that the aforementioned studies or merits will not be valued. In the case of online publications, the link to the website where the publication is to be found must be included. If the link is not included, it will not be valued.

e) Responsible declaration, included in the application form, that the conditions required by these rules are fulfilled. 

f) Copy of the documentation accrediting all the skills that can be assessed in accordance with base 7 and that have been detailed in the CV.

g) Document of communication of the personal and family situation of the recipient of earned income, or of its variation, to the payer (form 145). This can be obtained from the following Internet address: www.agenciatributaria.es

Valuation:

 

The same person can apply for up to one type of grants. 

The assessment will be made in two phases: assessment of the curriculum vitae and a personal interview with the six applicants who have obtained the best score for each type of grant in the CV assessment phase.
