Based on the title Creativity in an artist's working process, the painter Eusebi Vila Delclòs looks at various issues around the creative arts.
In a round table format, this event invites those attending to engage in a collective reflection, seeking to understand the creative process of art, taking the Derelictes exhibition at the Capellades Paper Mill Museum as a starting point.
How can the artist transfer personal impressions onto a particular object? What kinds of mechanisms are used - technical, neurological, intuitive or simply contextual? These are questions with many answers, which take us closer to the mystery of the origins of art.
The event starts with the screening of a video that briefly explains Eusebi Vila's working process at the Museum Villa Eusebius as a starting point for the issue under discussion. Art is therefore at the start of a debate, not the end of a plastic investigation.
The guest speakers, who have very different profiles, explore the idea based on visions that rarely converge. The aim is to start or foster a constructive dialogue which is illustrated by the experience of Eusebi Vila Delclòs at the Capellades Paper Mill Museum.
The guest speakers are:
Joan Vila-Grau, painter and stained glass artist
Mara Dierssen, neurobiologist
Victòria Rabal, artist and director of the Capellades Paper Mill Museum
Jaume Vidal Oliveras, historian and art critic
Eusebi Vila Delclòs, painter
