Ars Movens is a transdisciplinary and self-managed group that functions as a cooperative that got its start in the year 2021 thanks to several musicians studying in Barcelona who all wanted to diversity "classical" music, encourage dialogue between historical awareness and the present, and explore music. Since its inception, the project has combined democratic and autonomous work coordinated by the organising board with the collaboration of experienced musicians and artists from different disciplines.
 

The Assault of Illusion

An exhibition about art, illusion, deception and power. Featuring around twenty local and international artists, it offers a critical journey through various artistic techniques that have shaped our desires and our sense of reality. In the era of deepfakes and artificial intelligence, can art help us unveil these mechanisms of manipulation?
