Who are they aimed at?
Individuals who meet any of the following requirements are eligible for these grants:
- Be enrolled in the studies required for the type of grant for which they are applying and have passed a minimum of 120 credits, or in a postgraduate, master's or doctoral degree directly related to the aforementioned studies, during the academic year that ends in the year in which the grant is awarded.
- Hold a degree in the studies required for the type of grant for which they are applying, or in a postgraduate, master's or doctoral degree directly related to the aforementioned studies. It is necessary that the degree entitling them to access the grant has not been obtained for more than five years.
How to apply?
To apply for a grant you have to submit an online application through the portal of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The application period ends on 23 November 2023.
When submitting the application, you must identify yourself electronically, fill in the corresponding form and provide the following documentation:
- Copy of the documentation accrediting that you have a degree in the studies required in base 3 or that you have enrolled. In the case of official university degrees from the Spanish State, it is not necessary to provide them if you authorise the examining body to consult the corresponding data.
- Certificate of having passed credits in the event of being studying the required studies, in accordance with base 2.a).
- Copy of the transcript of records showing the average mark for the studies required in base 3.
- Detailed curriculum vitae of the applicant, specifying the studies required in base 3 and all those aspects that can be assessed in accordance with base 7. The curriculum vitae must expressly state, where applicable, the type of contract, the scholarship or internship carried out and the number of hours of training or work and collaborations.
Only studies and merits that can be accredited with documentary evidence may be included in the CV so that they can be valued. The lack of accreditation means that the aforementioned studies or merits will not be valued.
In the case of online publications, the link to the website where the publication is to be found must be included. If the link is not included, it will not be valued. - Responsible declaration, included in the application form, that the conditions required by these rules are fulfilled.
- Copy of the documentation accrediting all the skills that can be assessed in accordance with base 7 and that have been detailed in the CV.
- Document of communication of the personal and family situation of the recipient of earned income, or of its variation, to the payer (form 145). This can be obtained from the following Internet address: www.agenciatributaria.es.
Valuation:
The same person may opt, provided that the requirements are met, for one or up to two modalities, indicating the order of preference in the application. However, in the end, the applicant may only be selected and benefit from one of the modalities.
The assessment will be made in two phases: assessment of the curriculum vitae and a personal interview with the six applicants who have obtained the best score for each type of grant in the CV assessment phase.
