Franziska Baumann, Mireia Pellisa and Bernat Pont

The expanded voice
Activity
19 October from 12:30h to 13:45h | Concert/Performance | Cloister

Stefan Schultze

A pioneer in live digital techniques, Franziska Baumann has been performing for years with her unique Sensor Glove —a device that allows for real-time vocal processing and control of the sound space. Her performances unfold as immersive soundscapes where voice and technology merge to create richly textured and vibrant environments, exploring the limits of vocal expression.

In a second part, Franziska Baumann proposes a trio with the new generation of Catalan musicians: saxophonist Mireia Pellisa and composer and electronic performer Bernat Pont. Together they perform experimental improvised music, driven by a subtly provocative sound exploration and limitless creativity.

  • Set 1: Concert for voice and electronics with live sensors
  • Set 2: Concert for trio

Member of side proYect, RANGES COLLECTIVE and COCAINE HIPPOS, with whom she won the KÖSTER-PREIS 2023. Mireia creates collisions, collaborations, hybrid scenarios. Exploring from sound.
