Dozing on the accidental provocation

The numerous and often contradictory experiences that provoke notions of home lie under a thick layer of assumptions, impositions, inertias and familiarisations. What happens when these latencies of disparate experiences are agitated, exposed and intersect, provoking accidents, unveiling violence and opening up possibilities?

Dozing on the accidental provocation interweaves questions and artistic proposals about meanings and doubts, experiences and estrangements, genealogies and histories, policies and politics, representations and blurrings, exploitations and explorations, spaces and times, the inclusive or exclusive “us”, violence and revictimization, and the matrices of racism, classism, ableism, androcentrism and anthropocentrism. 

It is an exhibition comprising the individual and collective proposals of the selected artists, including parallel activities with the voices and contributions of other invited stakeholders and a situational committee that has collaboratively worked to provoke and accompany the processes and sub-processes of creation and reflection.
