El amor de mi VISA is a collective performance that transforms a wedding into a political act, denouncing the European migration system and proposing marriage as an event of dissident alliance, as a network of support and repair for queer migrants, through a critical, affective, and collective celebration.
The performance will unfold in two parts. The first will be a pre-activation prior to the Santa Mònica event, taking place at Kobra Kuir in Candy Darling Bar on October 1st at 8:30 p.m. Possible spouses will be summoned and selected to sign the prenuptial contract. This ceremony will be conducted by Saint Cupid. The second is the wedding itself, the performance El amor de mi VISA, which formalizes the marriage of the spouses struck by Saint Cupid’s arrow and will be carried out by the masters of ceremony Norma Mor and Missex.

Norma Pérez, better known as Norma Mor / Muerte a la Norma, is a Chilean artist, researcher, educator, and travesti based in Barcelona. Their transdisciplinary practice combines performance, visual arts, and drag as critical languages to reflect on the destabilisation of regimes of body oppression, such as gender, and the construction of dissident imaginaries that enable alternative ways of living. They are a member of the collective M0nster.L4b and director of the Kobra Kuir programme.
