Luciana Peña
Understanding "violence" as a divisive yoke and determining binomial factor, as a method of power control, is fundamental if we are to re-understand and practice it as an exercise of liberation of the oppressed.
In the organic structure of the workshop to be developed, we will see fundamental points, by way of introduction, to develop a critical self-defence and understand the axes of historical structural violence on bodies abject to normativity, both gender dissidences and migrant-racialised bodies in contexts of systematic and specific marginalisation.
There will be a practical demonstration of basic techniques (postures, blows and blocks), followed by a previous and proper warm-up, and culminating with a stretching session and relaxed conversation to ground feelings and experiences.

Transvestite from southern latitudes, Luciana Peña has actively participated in Chile and Barcelona in formal and informal groups activating, from anti-racism or anti-colonialism, to transfeminism and anarchism.
She has specialised in martial arts and contact sports, mainly in the muay thai, from the need to develop tools and practical possibilities for self-defence and to transmit her knowledge to her closest community, thus forming groups, not mixed, for sex-gender self-defence dissidences and teaching classes from self-organisation and autonomy.
