Narrated concert

A narrated concert is an audiovisual session in which the live coder artist seamlessly narrates what they are doing live, emphasising the code they use and projecting it onto the screen. The commentary takes place during the session but without completely halting the sound activity, without breaking the concert experience.

The intention is not to give an in-depth class on live coding, but rather a performance that allows the audience to experience and understand the artist's creative process first-hand and in real time, in a more concrete way than mere observation normally permits. In a word, a narrated concert!

Algorave

An algorave is a performative experience that combines electronic music, live coding and digital culture in a festive and participatory format. During the sessions, the artists create and modify sound and images in real time using code, which is projected on a screen so that the audience can follow the creative process.

The algorave becomes a space for exchange among art, technology and community to foster curiosity, learning and accessibility to contemporary digital practices, while transforming the space into an open, inclusive and innovative meeting place.

Boom Crash Candy Crush

What do an apparently innocent video game like Candy Crush, attention economies, and contemporary military infrastructures have in common? Featuring around twenty local and international artists, the exhibition explores how digital rewards and our interactions with screens fuel systems capable of shaping behaviour. A critical journey through the infrastructures that transform attention and data into highly valuable economic resources.
