Ars Movens is a transdisciplinary and self-managed group that functions as a cooperative that got its start in the year 2021 thanks to several musicians studying in Barcelona who all wanted to diversify "classical" music, encourage dialogue between historical awareness and the present, and explore music. Since its inception, the project has combined democratic and autonomous work coordinated by the organising board with the collaboration of experienced musicians and artists from different disciplines.
 

Boom Crash Candy Crush

What do an apparently innocent video game like Candy Crush, attention economies, and contemporary military infrastructures have in common? Featuring around twenty local and international artists, the exhibition explores how digital rewards and our interactions with screens fuel systems capable of shaping behaviour. A critical journey through the infrastructures that transform attention and data into highly valuable economic resources.
