In its fifth edition, Social Fest Bcn 2026 builds upon the path opened in 2025, which explored art as a transformative tool in individual and collective healing processes, as well as in the way we connect with the territory.
This year, the program focuses on the ecologies of care, understood as a network of relationships between bodies, technologies, and ecosystems. It offers a meeting point for art, science, and sensory knowledge to reflect on the invisible dimensions that sustain life. Vocal vibration, sunlight, and technologies applied to care form the core axes of a program combining audiovisual experiences, performances, and sound immersions to imagine new ways of perceiving, feeling, and caring.
On September 29, October 6, and October 13, 2026, Social Fest Bcn will return to the Santa Mònica Arts Centre to solidify a space for dialogue, creation, and critical thought from which to collectively reimagine new forms of well-being, coexistence, and care.
To mark the autumn equinox—a moment that signals the change of seasons—Marc Vilajuana will offer an intimate, open-to-the-public participatory concert. This proposal invites audiences to celebrate and feel the turn of the cycle through music, exploring folk music, modal music, improvisation, movement compositions, singing, and its social dimension.

With her performance My nanny was a computer, Mònica Rikić invites us to reflect on how care robotics is designed, produced, and integrated into care infrastructures. On stage, the artist appears alongside her handmade robotic devices, around which she unfolds a series of actions and reflections on how care technologies can be reinvented to respond to diverse needs in a fair and inclusive way.
