Solaria

An ephemeral immersive installation from the Solaria project, placing the Sun at the center of a journey that transforms scientific data and the beauty of astronomical phenomena into an immersive experience.

An interstellar journey that brings us closer to the vastness and mysteries of the Universe, ultimately returning us to Earth and to our own bodies. A sensory pathway in which, guided by MUOM, we connect with one another through collective resonances in a deeply moving experience that invites us to perceive the natural order of life through the senses.

MUOM Choir is an overtone singing ensemble that extensively explores the range of the human voice. Their wordless compositions are inspired by contemporary movements as well as various traditional cultures: Tuvan throat singing techniques, ancient choral polyphony, African percussion, and Baroque violin. Their album TERRA reached the top 20 of the European World Music Chart in 2021.

Oriol Borràs is a musician, physicist, and circus artist with a degree in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of Bristol (England). He trained in circus arts at the Rogelio Rivel school and studied music at the Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona (Conservatori del Bruc), with the violin as his primary instrument and the piano as his secondary. He is currently researching electronic soundscapes.
