Anna Pantinat accompanies the poems in the book Goigs posthumans with music that moves between experimental pop, electronic music, contemporary music, traditional Catalan music and anime soundtracks.

Anna Pantinat

Anna Pantinat (Barcelona, 1977) is the author of three books of poetry: De sobte, un estiu, Construcció de la nit and Qui no s’anomena (Ciutat de Manacor Prize 2017, Món de Llibres). She has presented several shows of performance poetry in solo format or with other artists and has performed at venues such as MACBA, MUSAC, the Virreina Image Centre, the Fabra i Coats Creation Factory, and the Roca Humbert Arts Factory. Her proposals have also been seen at festivals, including POESIA i +, Barcelona Poesia, Sarau Mal Gestat, LEM, Embarra't and the Exploding Fest. She regularly collaborates with other artists and collectives such as Konvent Zero and Seward, and in presentations of books of poetry, prose or translations into Catalan.

Recently, she performed a duet with Maria Sevilla to present La nit ovípara with the show Palpar, probar, intentar, which premiered at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona and which is touring several festivals throughout Catalonia. Shem is currently in residence at Fabra i Coats preparing the music for her project Goigs posthumans, which will be published in 2025 by Ultramarinos in a bilingual version.

Thursdays of voice and word is the Santa Mònica's programme dedicated to experimental proposals that explore the symbiosis between voice and language with recitals, readings and performances, free and regular on Thursdays at 7pm in the Sala Bar.
