Monologue about the reconstructed story of a silenced woman
Activity open to all and free of charge, limited to 55 people
Language: Catalan
Image from “Marçala”
Marçala tells the story of a woman, Antònia Mas Galmés, who lived a long life, but out of step with her time. Her story was not only a closely guarded family secret but also something her hometown of Manacor had forgotten.
Through a dialogue that recreates different episodes and anecdotes from her life, we discover the events that gave rise to this silence. But who among us is without silences? Secrets are often born to protect us, and yet they have an expiry date. The truth always finds its way into the open.
Activity curated by Carla Rovira
