Memories first arrive in the form of images. Little by little, the narrative begins to take shape. Words settle, images gain depth, and finally the account itself emerges.
Our creative drive is fuelled by the transgression of representational boundaries: through stage works we explore the musicality of words and voices as elements that give rhythm and life to oral accounts, while gesture becomes the score that brings movement and expressiveness to memory.
This is a space for reflecting on the importance of oral transmission and on how memories take form, how they can be reimagined and how we can explore the limits of reality and fiction through art, creating a living dialogue between past and present through gesture and the spoken word.
And once again, the particular speaks to the universal.

LabOriosa
LabOriosa is formed by Anna López and Triana Doce, actors and stage creators specialised in physical theatre, dance and community theatre. Their professional background has led them to develop their own methodology for transforming real stories into multidisciplinary stage works. Their productions, grounded in interpretations of heritage and the present, bring genuine accounts to centre stage.
