Free activity within the framework of Week for Palestine
Language: Spanish and English
A collage made from a drawing by Parnaz Karimi and calligraphy by Maryam Ramezankhani.
In this two-hour session, pantea shares work‑in‑progress pieces created within and for the Khamoosh community. It begins with a performance‑conversation woven from the sounds of migrating birds across Eurasia, streamed to the Khamoosh community in Iran—extending the space from here to there, and from there to here (which was initially supported by the CREA – La Escocesa 2025 Research Grant).
The second half invites listeners to stream sounds back to the Khamoosh community by walking within and outside the building, speaking if they wish, or sharing what they see and how they feel. Meanwhile, tea is served in the listening room and the audience is invited to reflect on the agency of listening.

With the participation of Pantea
Pantea is an Iranian sound and multidisciplinary artist who works with narratives of ecological and more‑than‑human connection. She is passionate about the environment, plants, and wetlands. Socially committed, her practice develops from the commons and collective space, researching with others and through thinking‑by‑doing the possibilities offered by sound and listening. Her work has been presented and exhibited internationally.
