Can conflict and the impossibility of a common meeting be a starting point from which to work? Las Mediocre seek to generate a space where the tensions originated from their interpersonal relationships transpire. Through the three characters and the way they relate to each other, we explore dissident methodologies of inhabiting conflict.

Las Mediocre

Las Mediocre (Valencia and Barcelona, 2025) are an interdisciplinary artistic collective composed of eight Valencian artists. Their production addresses their own concerns as well as those related to our environment, thus promoting a collective and generally amusing response. Friendship, play, commonality and humour are the common themes in all their projects. They have carried out several projects in spaces such as Pols (Más tibias que frescas, 2022), Centro Cultural Las Cigarreras (El ponent la mou i el llevant la plou, residency Estètiques Transversals, CMCV, 2022) or TEA Tenerife (No por mucho macerar amanece más temprano, 2022).
