What lies behind the dishes we prepare and eat every day? A recipe is much more than a list of ingredients and steps to follow; it is a map of journeys, an archive of shared memories, a fabric of social relationships and, at times, a space of resistance.
Desarmar una receta (Disarming a Recipe) is an interactive workshop where we will gather around the kitchen not only to cook, but to dismantle our culinary practices. Through dialogue and collective work, we will unpack the narratives, origins, and cultural meanings hidden within ingredients. We will analyze the biography of our preparations to understand how the objects and rituals of the kitchen shape who we are and how we relate to one another.
Come share your story, get your hands in the dough, and turn the way we look at food upside down. Because cooking is, above all, a political act and a collective transformation.
