A presentation of Mānthöûr Bayrūt by Farah F. Naboulsi, followed by a Q&A session between the director and the audience.
Mānthöûr Bayrūt tells the journey of a woman from Beirut to the city's outskirts, where she explores a deep connection with an endemic flower. This rare and endangered species brings up questions of belonging and complex feelings about the world she inhabits. Through various encounters, the flower slowly emerges as a main character in the story, inviting the narrator to explore what remains wild and brutal in Beirut's last public coastal space.
