Camera Aperta concert through yin yoga practice

Important: to participate in this activity, you must bring your own yoga mat.
Raquel Castro (violin) and Amparo Lacruz (cello), members of Camera Aperta, will perform Castell interior, by Pēteris Vasks, and Rejoice!, by Sofia Gubaidúlina, compositions that take the relation between body and sound to a mystical plain.
Linda Bello, yin yoga instructor, will invite listeners to adopt comfortable and relaxing meditation postures, which will reveal their inner space as a resonance of the musical experience, a vehicle for contemplation.

Camera Aperta is an ensemble formed by Raquel Castro and Amparo Lacruz. Using with chamber music highlights, these renowned performers showcase another repertoire that is less common, but absolutely essential in concert halls. The name Camera Aperta responds to the versatile spirit of this ensemble, interested in all periods and styles, as well as in collaboration with other performers and in dialogue with the arts and areas of knowledge. It has recently been presented at the Early Music Festival of the Pyrenees and at the Palau de les Arts de València as part of the Ensems Festival.
Raquel Castro has a solid, versatile career as a violinist and pedagogue. She has trained with renowned teachers such as Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University Bloomington, Detlef Hahn at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and Lev Chistiakov in Spain. She has performed as a soloist and guest artist at prestigious festivals throughout Europe. She was first violin soloist in the Ensemble Nacional de España de Música Contemporánea, with which she participated in numerous premieres. She currently teaches violin at ESMUC and at UAX (Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio).
Amparo Lacruz has performed in the main festivals and concert halls in Spain. Internationally, she has participated in major festivals in Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Puerto Rico and South Korea. A member of the Kandinsky Trio, she has toured Europe, Asia and Latin America. Her discography has been widely recognised, especially the monograph dedicated to Guinjoan, which was awarded the CD Compact prize for the best chamber music album. She currently teaches at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona and gives master classes all over the world.
Linda Bello is a yoga instructor certified by Yoga Alliance, trained in hatha-vinyasa, rocket, restorative and yin yoga. With the motto "always a student", she understands yoga as a path of constant learning. She started her practice more than fifteen years ago in Venezuela, but it was in Barcelona where yoga became an essential part of her life, especially as a tool for physical, mental and emotional balance
