Zitzània is a duo that combines the elegance of circus with the fluidity of dance, focusing on physicality and difference. Through the manipulation of bodies, they explore how two contrasting presences can interact and complement each other. Like darnel (zitzània, in Catalan), a plant that grows among the wheat with its own beauty and uniqueness, the artists investigate what it means to inhabit the space of the other, a fragile and unusual territory that becomes the creative starting point.

This piece is the result of a connection forged over the years between Lali Ayguadé and Joan Ramon Graell. Having created duets together in their youth, they are now collaborating again, motivated by a deep friendship and a desire to explore new possibilities from their artistic and personal experiences. This meeting becomes an opportunity to reinvent and rediscover oneself in a scenic language that mixes circus, dance and the complicity of a shared bond.
