Jessica is a fourteen-year-old teenager who lives on the outskirts of Barcelona. Her father's mistreatment since she was a little girl has turned her into an irascible girl with a heavy armour around her, even with her little sister, Alma, who is eight years old. Due to a misunderstanding, Jessica will have to be in charge of fetching, together with her sister, the food from Cáritas on the Feast of Saint John. Through this journey with Alma, Jessica will realise that she does not want to become her father and will treat her little sister with love and not with violence.
Lucía G. Romero was born in Barcelona and studied at ESCAC, where she graduated with a master's degree in Directing. Her graduation film is Cura sana, an energetic work full of life and humanity that has attracted attention at festivals, winning the Crystal Bear at the 2024 Berlinale.
