A screening of 10 award-winning short films from across the 10 years of La Mida no Importa - Size Doesn’t Matter, demonstrating that great stories can also be told in short form. Because Size Doesn’t Matter, but stories do.
For more than a decade, the La Mida no Importa - Size Doesn’t Matter festival has championed the short film as a unique medium for creativity, experimentation and diverse perspectives. Remaining true to the idea that a work’s value is not determined by its running time, the festival has developed a distinctive identity built around celebrating a format capable of condensing profound emotions, conflicts and reflections into just a few minutes.
Over the years, the festival has embraced a wide-ranging programme spanning fiction, documentary, animation and hybrid works. Social commitment and creative boldness sit alongside a playful spirit, making the festival a genuine meeting point for creators who explore and reinvent the language of audiovisual storytelling.
Reflecting this rich history, the programme presents a selection of 10 award-winning short films from across the festival’s history. Together, they capture the spirit of the festival and reaffirm its founding mission: to show that the greatest stories are often the ones told in short form.
