Frau Diamanda, TRAVESTORY, 2025, video installation, 160 × 12 cm.

TRAVESTORY is a video installation of six video pieces that gathers video art, video clips and recordings of performances from their author's long artistic and militant production. The work navigates from video art to transvestite philosophical notes, from the anecdotes of Lima's nightlife to the cultural historiography of Peru.

Frau Diamanda

Frau Diamanda/Héctor Acuña is a translator, writer, self-taught audiovisual artist, drag performer, independent curator, cultural contagion, DJ and occasional actress. She attended the 2017-2018 Independent Studies programme (PEI) at MACBA) and is the author of the book Escenas Catalanas: errancias antropológico-sexuales, published by La Máquina Barcelona in 2020.
