Ash Moniz is a multidisciplinary artist based in Amman. His work encompasses sculpture/installation and video/film. Moniz has had solo exhibitions at the Rockbund Art Museum, the Townhouse Gallery and the Si Shang Art Museum. He has also participated in group exhibitions such as the Whitney Museum's ISP Exhibition, Vermilion Sands, Sheffield DocFest, Berlinale Forum Expanded and Dakar Biennale, among others. Since 2016, he has been collaborating with the publication Mada Masr. He currently plays drums for the Gaza rock band Osprey V and manages mutual support networks in Gaza and Cairo.
Osprey V is a rock band from Gaza, the first of its kind in the region. Its members are Raji, Moamin and Saed Aljaro, Ahmed Abuhowidy, Dina Jamal and Ash Moniz.
