Luis Codera Puzo has been a particularly active figure in the field of modular synthesisers, for which he has composed numerous works in a wide variety of formats, from solo pieces to the premiere of one of the first works written for modular synthesiser and orchestra.

His approach to modular synthesis emphasises performativity to maximise live interaction with the instrument and develop an instrumental technique that allows a high degree of real-time control of the sound.

The first part of the programme, Splendor, is a hypnotic exploration of multiple analogue oscillators performing a continuous glissando. The ideal configuration involves a completely darkened room, where the listener is immersed in a constantly transforming mass of sound and passes through various states of transit and ecstasy. The second piece, Las enumeraciones, has a more expansive character and a strong performative component.

It consists of a series of sound situations that emerge from precise but volatile synthesiser configurations: tiny or massive sounds arising from drastic modulations of analogue oscillators and extremely fast sequences, disappearing or transforming with the slightest adjustment of parameters.
